Sister Diann Paulin

PAULIN Sister Diann, C.S.T. 54, died November 9, 2002 at St. Ann's Home in Oklahoma City. She was born to Alvin Henry and Margaret Paulin on May 20, 1948 in Fond Du Lac, WI. Diann graduated from St. Mary Springs Academy in Fond Du Lac, WI in 1966. She then joined the Carmelite Sisters of St. Therese. Diann obtained her BS from U.C.O., an A.A. in Child Development from Rose State Jr. in College, and C.P.E. from Oklahoma Health Center. She taught in early childhood education at Villa Teresa School for many years, worked as a chaplain for Mission Hospice, and was elected and served four years as General Superior from 1988 to 1992. Sister Diann was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Shirley Jean Paulin. Her survivors include brothers Dominic, Dale, Dennis Steven, and Stanley; sisters Donna, Darlene, Sharon, Sue Ellen, Karen, and Kathleen. Evening Prayer Service will be 7:30 p.m. Monday at Villa Teresa Convent 1300 N. Classen Dr. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Old Cathedral with interment to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. SMITH & KERNKE 1401 NW 23rd ST.
